Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which SGEMA (South Gujarat Event Management Association) processes refunds for memberships, event registrations, and other paid services.

By making a payment to SGEMA, you agree to this policy.

1. Membership Fees

• Non-Refundable: All membership fees paid to SGEMA are non-refundable once the application is submitted and processed, regardless of approval status, resignation, or cancellation.
• Exceptions: Refunds may be considered in rare cases of accidental duplicate payments. Such cases must be reported within 7 days of the transaction.

2. Event Registrations

• Cancellation by Participant:
  • Requests for cancellation must be emailed to [[email protected]].
  • A full or partial refund may be issued based on the timing of the request:
    • 7 days or more before the event: 80% refund
    • Less than 7 days before the event: No refund
• Cancellation by SGEMA:
  • If SGEMA cancels or postpones an event, participants will be offered:
    • A full refund, or
    • Transfer of registration to the rescheduled event or another event of equal value.

3. Workshops or Paid Training

• Refunds for workshops are subject to the same conditions as event registrations unless explicitly stated otherwise in the event’s terms.

4. Sponsorships and Advertising

• Payments made toward sponsorships, advertisements, or booth reservations are non-refundable, unless the event is canceled or SGEMA is unable to deliver the agreed benefits.

5. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days to the original payment method.
• SGEMA is not liable for any bank charges, transfer fees, or delays caused by payment gateways.

6. How to Request a Refund

• Full Name
• Contact Number
• Payment Receipt/Transaction ID
• Reason for Refund
• Bank details (if required for manual transfer)
